Operations & Public Cloud Coordinator

Position Description:

The Operations & Public Cloud Coordinator will be responsible for building and managing operational processes to support and scale our strategic cloud partnerships across NTT DATA Business Solutions Inc. (NDBS) (Americas). These partnerships include Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Google Cloud Platform. This role will also support Central Operations Functions and become knowledgeable in both AMS and MC Services. This role will support and backfill other Operations Leaders when they are out of Office.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Partner Management      
  • Partner portal management – Register and manage all new opportunities in AWS, Azure, and Google Portals
  • Partner incentives and funding COE– Become expert on obtaining partner incentives
  • Partner incentives and funding (Management) – Work with NDBS Sales and Partner Sales & Channel Management to get partner funding for pre-sales, POC, Migration and RISE opportunities
  • Report and Forecast Monthly and Quarterly Expected Incentives
  • Engage with public cloud partners to understand programs. Communicate programs to Sales and Solution group

 

  1. Partnership Reporting and Billing
  • Monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting on Hyperscaler metrics (Incentives, Billing, Rebates, etc.)
  • Review, manage, and coordinate partner billing with NDBS billing, pre-sales, and managed cloud management

 

  1. Operations Management 
  • Drive day-to-day Support for Central Operations, Customer On-Boarding, Master Data Management, Workflow definitions & improvements
  • Accountable for Customer Data Management
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies that support our corporate goals and objectives 
  • Provide timely and accurate Operations and Financial management reporting
  • Manage forecasts, including regular updates to budget and forecast
  • Provide accurate customer rates to accounting ensuring accurate customer billing and minimizing customer complaints through automation
  • Responsible for monthly Customer Reporting

 

  1. Team Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct resources for all Operations team members
  • Ensure collaboration with LOB managers regarding standard policies and procedures

 

  1. Continual Improvement
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in Operations
  • Identify and implement automation tools, concepts, and processes

 

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Marketing or related field
  2. 2-4 years industry experience, including at least 2 years in public cloud operations
  3. Operational experience with AWS, Microsoft, or Google Cloud is required
  4. Technical expertise with creating and documenting process flows
  5. Ability to articulate complex processes to multiple levels within an organization
  6. Experience navigating and engaging multiple, matrixed teams in a large enterprise organization

 

Preferred:

  1. Global team experience (co-delivering with resources in more than one country
  2. Experience with sales or alliance operational software platforms)
  3. Automation of operational processes a plus
