As a Managed Services Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and supporting the Finance Team Lead, who oversees the day-to-day management of a team of Managed Service Support Consultants delivering a shared support service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide estimates in a timely manner and communicate deliverable status to stakeholders.
  • Analyse, configure and implement appropriate solutions with the support of the other Functional/Development Consultants when applicable
  • Strong communicator; able to communicate confidently with customers and Service Delivery Managers, keeping all up-to-date with progress of deliverables. Can positively influence different stakeholders; is accepted at various levels as an appropriate partner in discussions.  Has a calm approach in stressful situations in which they take responsibility and has great personal integrity.
  • Experience of motivating and leading others or deputising in the team leader’s absence.
  • Experience of coaching others within the team.
  • Problem solving: uses own initiative to look for solutions/opportunities for improvement and is willing to make decisions; recognises overarching problems as well as political situations and escalates these if necessary
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach, commitment, and flexibility both internally and externally; gets results and proactively supports others.
  • Understands business process; can arrange their own tasks and workload and implement the strategy, with the aim of developing the business further. Accepts responsibility for own tasks and projects and manages these in terms of quality, productivity and resources.  Recognises risks in the project/ tasks and provides suggestions for minimizing them.
  • Recognises the potential for small levels of repeat business due to the implemented project and realizes these; notifies the person responsible when there is greater potential for repeat business



  • Deep knowledge and expert knowledge of S4 HANA (Cloud & On-Prem) and ECC modules, especially Product Cost Controlling (Includes Material Ledger) and Project Systems (Includes Results analysis and settlement)
  • General Ledger including Tax, Accounts Payable / Receivable, Electronic Bank Statement, Fixed Assets, with BPC being advantageous
  • Cross functional knowledge across Billing, Purchasing / Materials Management, Project Systems (Includes Logistic to Financials integration), workflow and Travel Expenses (Concur)
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Documentation skills including functional specifications, test scripts
  • Excellent design, configuration and testing of specific core functional modules
  • Work within a remote consulting support team for contracted customers using the NTT Data service management systems and processes and delivering within defined SLA or requested dates
  • Feedback potential solutions in a logical way for both SAP knowledgeable and non knowledgeable audiences.
  • A strong ability to understand business processes and design appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills for working with the functional and customer teams
  • Track record of full project lifecycle and development activities.
  • Can act as liaison with client for troubleshooting ie strong skills regarding investigation, analysis, and problem solving. Able to map client business requirements, processes and objectives.
  • Ability to provide end to end business solutions.
  • Ability to oversee larger pieces of work.
  • Proven experience in a combined customer service handling / functional support role.
  • Experience within a consultant environment an advantage.
  • Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision to tight deadlines
  • Able to prioritise and distribute team workload effectively.
  • Able to deal with challenging customer and resource issues in a professional and supportive manner and to see these through to resolution.
  • Keen to offer ideas and solutions to develop the AMS Functional Support function.
  • Ability to encourage ideas from ground level up.
  • Professionally manage customer expectations
  • Collaborative and team orientated
