Senior SAP Technical Consultant - ABAP

Position Description:

The Sr. SAP Technical Consultant is responsible for providing project and enhancement support to Application Management Service (AMS) customers.  In addition, they may be responsible for processing AMS customer problems and changes in the itelligence Service Desk.  In this capacity, the Sr. SAP Technical Consultant is responsible for delivering high customer satisfaction to all itelligence AMS customers.

Act as senior consultant using advanced industry knowledge to provide SAP project, upgrade, and enhancement support to customers.  Duties include design and technical development of RICEF deliverables; document technical specifications; process customer problems and changes in the itelligence Service Desk; lead customer and other teams, and provide project, strategic account, and/or Helpdesk customer support. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document customer business requirements.
  • Collaboration with itelligence functional and technical colleagues.
  • Support of customers via remote support (minimal onsite).
  • Design and development of innovative SAP technical solutions.
  • Execute unit tests and document technical specifications

 

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study
  • Strong S/4HANA ABAP development experience with CDS and OData
  • Fiori Freestyle SAPUI5 development and troubleshooting experience
  • Five years of SAP project implementation experience in the assigned technical module OR production support experience OR Master’s degree and 4 years of experience
  • Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP project implementations
  • Two years integration experience with other process areas
  • Two years of leadership experience on SAP implementation projects
  • Strong S/4HANA ABAP development experience with CDS and OData
  • Fiori Freestyle SAPUI5 development and troubleshooting experience
  • Adobe Forms experience
  • Enhancements (user-exits, BAdIs, enhancement points)
  • Must meet or exceed itelligence general consulting competencies of Personal Skills, Result Orientation/Quality
  • Management, Customer Management, Leadership, and Corporate Development.

 

Preferred Experience in the following areas:

  • Interface design and development experience
  • SAP Cloud Platform development experience with WebIDE
  • Experience in a helpdesk environment supporting live systems
