What does a career as a Project Manager at NTT DATA Business Solutions entail?
You will work within our Education & Research team. This unit aims to help clients attract a diverse and talented student population, adapt to online learning, B2B and B2C scenarios and international campuses, and climb the academic rankings. Higher education has many challenges on its plate, and you will help provide solutions!

What you will do as a Project Manager within the higher education unit?
You have to be enthusiastic and know how to drive your team from a long-term perspective. Our projects vary in duration between 6 months and several years depending on the scope. Knowing how to manage, support and keep your team enthusiastic for this long is something you understand and do well. You have to work with relatively small teams that vary between 5 to 10 persons and get to know them quite well, what drives them, what they are allergic to in the workplace, what their strengths are, etc.

In a nutshell, you are responsible for managing the project planning, budgeting, and making sure the goals are achieved.

You work in the Netherlands and abroad for Universities and higher education institutions on challenging projects that make education even faster, smarter and more innovative.

This is what you bring to NTT DATA Business Solutions

• A completed education at a higher professional education or university education level;
• Excellent client management and stakeholder skills
• Certified or strong knowledge of 1 or more project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile and SAP Activate
• Experience with working in sprints is a plus
• Ability to advise client's knowledgably on all aspects of a project, obtaining the client's confidence and forging strong links with them
• Risk and quality management are important pillars while exercising your role as a project manager
• Commercially minded and able to manage our internal financial risks on projects, effective management of internal costs and delivering within agreed parameters
• Experience with Student Information Systems and/or SAP is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English, German proficiency is a big plus and Dutch is a plus
• Good interpersonal and social skills allowing you to get along well with others.
