Job Description: SAP BASIS – Support Project

Role Overview: 
 •  Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
Perform system administration activities including client copies, transports, and patching
Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and health checks
Manage SAP landscape (DEV, QA, PROD) and transport management system (TMS)
Perform system upgrades, migrations, and refreshes
Ensure database administration support (HANA/Oracle/SQL Server)
Implement and maintain security, user access, and role management in coordination with GRC teams
Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within SLA timelines
Coordinate with functional and technical teams for deployments and releases
Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration
Strong knowledge of:

SAP system architecture and landscape design
SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA environments
Transport Management System (TMS)
System monitoring tools (Solution Manager, CCMS)

Experience in SAP upgrades, kernel upgrades, and migrations
Exposure to SAP HANA administration (preferred)
Knowledge of OS (Linux/Windows) and database management
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in SAP S/4HANA conversions/migrations
Familiarity with SAP Cloud (BTP, RISE with SAP)
Exposure to automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python)
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups
SAP BASIS or HANA certification (preferred)
