Job Title: Murex Developer – MxML & Datamart

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Murex Developer with strong expertise in MxML and Datamart development to join our Capital Markets technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and supporting Murex interfaces, reporting solutions, and workflow configurations while working with financial products such as FX, Rates, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
•    Develop, enhance, and maintain Murex MxML interfaces for seamless integration with internal and external systems. 
•    Design, develop, and optimize Murex Datamart reports and reporting solutions. 
•    Build and maintain SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. 
•    Configure and support Murex workflows and Global Operations Module (GOM). 
•    Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize interface performance and reporting jobs. 
•    Work with XML-based message formats and data exchange standards. 
•    Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Control-M or similar job scheduling tools. 
•    Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and support teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions. 
•    Ensure high-quality code through testing, documentation, and adherence to development standards. 
•    Provide production support and resolve application issues within agreed SLAs. 
Required Skills & Experience
•    4+ years of hands-on experience in Murex development. 
•    Strong expertise in MxML and Datamart. 
•    Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase). 
•    Experience working with XML-based data standards and message formats. 
•    Hands-on experience with Murex Workflow Configuration and GOM (Global Operations Module). 
•    Experience with Control-M or similar job scheduling tools. 
•    Strong understanding of Capital Markets products including: 
o    Foreign Exchange (FX) 
o    Interest Rate Products 
o    Fixed Income Securities 
o    Derivatives 
•    Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills for interfaces and reporting jobs. 
Preferred Skills
•    Experience in Murex system integration. 
•    Knowledge of Murex architecture and financial messaging. 
•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. 
Education
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 
Location
•    Bangalore (Hybrid/Onsite as per business requirements)
