Job Description: Senior ServiceNow Developer (SPM & ITSM) Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow SPM and ITSM modules, including workflows, forms, integrations, and automations. • Lead and deliver medium-to-high complexity releases and changes across the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with business analysts, architects, process owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Implement, maintain, and optimize ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Release, and Asset Management; and SPM modules such as Demand, Project, Portfolio, Financial, and Resource Management. • Configure and maintain platform components, including integration with external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Server. • Ensure platform stability and performance through application maintenance, upgrade planning, user access controls, and incident support. • Contribute to release planning, version reviews, and implementation of new platform features. • Mentor junior developers and provide training and support to end users and teams. • Produce comprehensive documentation, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and participate in ServiceNow community events and workshops. • Ensure solutions follow ITIL, Agile, and ServiceNow best practices while adhering to platform security and compliance requirements. Required Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, including at least 1 full implementation experience each in both ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and IT Service Management (ITSM). • Strong hands-on experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and integrations (REST/SOAP). • Proficient in ServiceNow platform architecture, CMDB, ACLs, Service Catalog, and Performance Analytics. • Deep knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies. • ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred, Implementation Specialist for ITSM or Implementation Specialist for SPM required. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
