API/Data Testing Quality Engineer (QE)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced API/Data Testing Quality Engineer with 6–9 years of hands-on experience in API testing, automation testing, and database/ETL validation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Web Services Testing (REST & SOAP), automation frameworks, and SQL-based data validation. Candidates with exposure to Python and CI/CD practices will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for APIs, web services, and data validation. 
•    Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications and services. 
•    Validate REST and SOAP web services using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks. 
•    Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate, and Playwright. 
•    Conduct database and ETL testing, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems. 
•    Write complex SQL queries for backend data validation and reconciliation. 
•    Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. 
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables within project timelines. 
•    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation framework enhancements.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 
•    Relevant certifications in Testing/Automation are an added advantage.
