Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP MM/WM L3 Consultant to act as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Materials Management and Warehouse Management modules. The consultant will drive complex issue resolution, lead enhancements, support critical business processes, and collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and global delivery units.

Key Responsibilities

L3 Support & Solution Ownership

· Act as L3 support lead for SAP MM and WM modules

· Resolve complex, high-priority incidents and problems beyond L2 capabilities

· Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective solutions

· Own end-to-end functional resolution and ensure SLA adherence

· Provide functional governance and oversight across MM/WM processes

SAP MM Responsibilities

· Design, configure, and support:

o Procurement (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)

o Inventory Management (GR/GI, Transfers, Consignment, Subcontracting)

o Invoice Verification and GR/IR processes

· Handle advanced configurations:

o Pricing procedures, schemas, and condition techniques

o Release strategies for purchasing and inventory

o Special procurement types and valuation scenarios

· Manage MM-FI integration, including account determination and postings

· Support period-end and year-end closing activities

SAP WM Responsibilities

· Own and support end-to-end warehouse processes:

o Inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse movements

o Putaway, picking, stock removal, replenishment

· Handle advanced WM concepts:

o Transfer Requirements (TR) and Transfer Orders (TO)

o Movement types, storage control, and search strategies

o Physical inventory, posting changes, and bin management

· Troubleshoot and optimize MM-WM integration

· Support warehouse master data and layout design

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills

· 6+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP MM and SAP WM

· Strong understanding of MM-WM and MM-FI integration

· Experience handling critical incidents and business escalations

Technical & Functional Exposure

· SAP ECC mandatory; S/4HANA exposure preferred

· Knowledge of Lean WM / transition concepts to EWM is an advantage

· Ability to read and analyze ABAP code for issue diagnosis
