Position Summary: 

The SAP Associate role is an entry-level, early-career position designed for individuals interested in building a career as an SAP professional at NTT DATA Business Solutions, Inc. (NDBS).

As an SAP Associate, you will participate in our Accelerated Consultant Education (ACE) Program—a structured, 10–12-week immersive training experience based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The program combines instructor-led and hands-on learning to build foundational consulting and SAP skills, followed by continued education and development as you begin your consulting career.

The position emphasizes learning, skill development, and growth within a collaborative environment. Successful candidates are strong team players who can also work independently, demonstrate solid communication and interpersonal skills, and bring a genuine eagerness to learn.

All SAP Associates are expected to uphold the guiding principle of the ACE Program: “do good work and be good to work with.”

ACE Program

The ACE Program develops new hires into SAP professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to deliver exceptional value to our clients. Through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, we aim to empower our new hires to become trusted advisors, innovators, and problem solvers in the ever-evolving landscape of SAP technology. After successful completion of the three-month classroom portion, participants:

• Are provided with opportunities to continue to expand their SAP technical and professional skills while adding value to NDBS and our customers
• Can choose to pursue a career path in other lines of business within NDBS upon promotion to SAP Application Consultant (typical timeline for promotion is 2-4 years)
• Continue to receive mentorship as they gain exposure to diverse customers, industries, and SAP projects
• Build their network within the organization through various events and other career opportunities
• The ACE Program offers an accelerated compensation structure, with salary increases throughout the duration of the program until reaching senior consultant or equivalent.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Participate in internal learning initiatives
• Present solutions to both internal and/or external stakeholders while clearly communicating and ensuring they fully understand the business process
• Assist in the development of documentation for client solutions
• Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets all business requirements
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business processes, objectives and challenges
• Take an active role in your own career development in the form of continuous education as well as annual goals and objectives

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience facilitating meetings and/or group discussions
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of business scenarios

Must be located in, or willing to temporarily relocate to the Cincinnati, Ohio area for the first two years of employment, and must be open to travel up to 100% of the time.

The annual base compensation for this role will be $65,000.
