Senior Account Executive, Managed Services

Position Description:

The Account Executive is responsible for successfully selling SAP software, services, support and/or hosting in Western United States. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  1. Uncover, identify and properly qualify business opportunities
  2. Forecast business
  3. Prepare formal proposals – including participation in writing Statements of Work (SOW)
  4. Present to executive levels of organizations
  5. Lead negotiations with C-Level Executives 
  6. Coordinating complex decision-making process
  7. Overcome objections to closure
  8. Maintain strong knowledge of SAP and technology initiatives
  9. Help build the NTT Data Business Solutions inc brand through SAP field relationship

 

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience selling ERP/IT solutions.
  3. Proven experience selling with “C” levels
  4. Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding quotas
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  6. Customer focused

 

Must have experience in the following:

  1. Hitting Software and service net new and install base revenue targets
  2. Sales support team management
  3. Sales acumen
  4. Delivering high level analytics strategic roadmaps
  5. Competitive analysis
  6. Sales strategy, qualification and priority
  7. Sales process and tools (net new and install base)
  8. Contract development and support
  9. ROI Financial Acumen
  10. SAP and key customer relationships.
  11. Proven history of sales with SAP or SAP partner
  12. ERP experience (one or more): SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, NetSuite
  13. Extensive knowledge of SAP and SAP products being sold
  14. Managed Services Sales Experience
  15. Proven sales goals met

 

Preferred:

  1. Soft skills: must be able to utilize CRM to forecast and document sales cycles, process oriented, and productive independent worker
  2. Industry experience (one or more): industrial, manufacturing, medical device, CPG, heavy machinery/distribution, pharma
  3. Consistent employment history
