Technical Project Manager

Position Description:

Direct technical (WRICEF) portion of client SAP implementation projects.

Travel Expectation for this role is upto 100%.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management

1. Provides ongoing visibility to the direction of SAP products within specific disciplines including new functionality or typical third-party application
2. Define Technical scope and objectives
3. Establish MS Project tracker to manage the Technical Project Plan
4. Analyze Client requirements and provide detailed technical solutions
5. Act as a trusted advisor to the Customer and to Project Management
6. Forecast resources to ensure the right consultants are available at right time for the project
7. Manage offshore development work

Methodology, Tools & Template Development

1. Solution implementation, testing, and training
2. Assist in the development of Technical Project Management Methodology, tools, and templates
3. Create End-User Procedures for technical solutions
4. Screen new candidates and develop training content and delivery
5. Identify and assist in the development of intellectual property

Position Requirements/Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
2. Ten years of hands-on experience in software development across multiple modules including writing technical specifications and performing code reviews in ABAP and ABAP Objects
3. At least three years of Technical lead experience
4. Three full lifecycle SAP implementations
5. Ability to lead strategic workshops with clients
6. Experience across multiple industries
7. Experience leading accelerated implementations
8. Excellent written and Verbal communication
9. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Project and SharePoint

Preferred:

1. Advanced degree
2. Project Management training and certification
3. HANA and UI5 development experience
