Do you love challenges?

The CIS MY Engineer is accountable for ensuring the availability of Backup & Storage Services for
NTT DATA Business Solutions. Ensuring services are delivered in line with global standards,
compliances and available to SLA expectation.

• Manage Storage environments at NDBS sites. Functions may include installation, configuration & patching of Storage, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and other duties necessary to maintain reliable and high performing storage systems. Design, deploy, maintain (upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot, optimize) various storage solution in an enterprise environment.
• Manage the Backup environment at NDBS sites. Functions may include design and implement current/new Backup solutions, maintain the Backup throughout their life cycle, creation and scheduling of new Backup instances, support the resolution of incidents/problems, implement effective Backup monitoring and other duties necessary to maintain reliable and high performing Backup environment.
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the Management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
• Ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date in line with NDBS standards and policies.
• Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions.
• To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
• Always ensure that company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field OR basic experience in backup and storage solutions.
• Min 3+ years of experience in IT focusing on Backup & Storage.
  Proven experience in multiple Backup Solutions (Commvault, EMC), includes maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in multiple Storage Solutions (IBM, Dell, & PURE STORAGE).
• Experience includes maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting.
• Added certifications for Backup & Storage and ITIL provides advantages.
• Strong command in English, excellent verbal and presentation skills, great
  interpersonal skills, and experience in international collaboration.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Team player, work effectively as part of a global team and demonstrates a
  willingness to assist others.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
• Able to travel if required.
