The Data Center Infrastructure Engineer – Security is responsible & accountable for all network security, infrastructure security, cybersecurity, cloud security aspects, manage availability of networking services of Public Cloud Platforms, ICP Platforms and NTT DATA Business Solutions Platforms. Ensuring services are delivered in line with global standards, and compliances and available to SLA expectations.

• Manage, detect, critical response, & critical mitigate infrastructure security platform environments NDBS sites (On-Premises & Public Cloud). Functions may include installation, configuration, patching & secure infrastructure technology component, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and other duties necessary to maintain reliability, high performance and secure.
• Administer the local area networks (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) at ICP & NDBS platforms including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring performance and logs collection.
• Setup, configure and administer the switches, routers, firewalls and VOIP at ICP & NDBS platforms including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring performance and logs collection.
• Design, deploy, maintain (upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot, optimize) various on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud security solution in an enterprise environment.
• Manage the IT & Data Center infrastructure security environment at NDBS sites. Functions may include design and implement current/new solutions, maintain the systems throughout their life cycle, creation, and scheduling of new instances, support the resolution of incidents/problems, implement effective monitoring and other duties necessary to maintain reliable and high performing & secure technology environment.
• Manage fundamental operation of Data Center, Public Cloud, Networks, Security, Servers, Operating Systems, Backup & Storage environment, Projects in NDBS platforms. Functions may include installation, configuration & patching, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and other duties necessary to maintain reliable and high performing systems.
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the Management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management especially on security topics.
• Ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date in line with NDBS standards and policies.
• Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions.

• Ensure that at all times company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to.

• University degree in Information Technology.
• Min 5+ years of experience in IT focusing on Network Security, Data Center Infrastructure, Network, Servers, Operating Systems, Backup, and Storage related technology.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and common networking terms as well as knowledge of network cabling.
• Proven experience of maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise LAN’s switches and routers and with strong understanding of its Command Line Protocols (CISCO, ARISTA & Others.).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent/similar qualification.
• Background experience of working within Cisco, ARISTA, FortiGate, F5 BigIP, WAF, SIEM & DDoS environment.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure and operations, including physical and logical security measures.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Basic exposure in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong command in English, excellent verbal and presentation skills, great interpersonal skills and experience in international collaboration.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya & Shah Alam, Selangor.
• Able to travel if required.
