   The role of Learning & Development Coordinator is to align employee goals and performance with those of the organizations. The incumbent responsible for learning & development within an organization must identify skill gaps among employees and teams and then develop and deliver training to bridge those gaps.

 

  • Work with HBUs, Managers, and Team Leaders to enhance an employee's skills, knowledge, and competency, resulting in better performance in a work setting after they have evaluated employees for potential skill gaps.

 

  • Help to identify the skill gaps among employees and teams and identify training to bridge those gaps. In our business, the common types of learning/training required for our employees include: -
  1. Technical or Technology Training
  2. Quality & Compliance Training
  3. Skills Training
  4. Soft Skills Training
  5. Professional Training, (SAP Functional Training and Certification)
  6. Team Training
  7. Managerial Training
  8. Enablement Sessions
  9. Webinars

To include “on-boarding” new employees and honing their skills to assigned work and project requirements.

 

  • Work with Resource Management on Skill Matrix and Certification acquired.
  • Maintain employee training, Certification, and Skill records and compile them in SF LMS

 

  • Sourcing: Source and recommend training and learnings internally, externally, and through SF Library.

 

  • Managing third-party training providers and Global Training
  • Handling and liaising with External Trainers
  • Compliance Training and Values Learning

 

  • Submission of Learning Reports as requested by HBUs, Managers and Team Leads
  • Adhoc individual training record
  • Training schedule for individual or teams

 

  • SF Learning Management (SF LMS)
  • Act as HR L&D Partner to HoDs to help identify and work with Managers, Team Leaders, HBUs, and HoD on identifying Learnings available for their team members.
  • Update and maintain Training (outside of those available in LMS) - Internal Training, External Training, Online Training, Webinars, Enablement Sessions, Conferences, Compliance Training, Learning Hub, and Certification Record into SF LMS
  • Coach Managers on using LMS – creating their training, evaluation, and quizzes.
  • Close the gaps in employee skill and learning or certification records in Skills Management Maintenance and LMS

 

  • Conventional Training/Learnings – Classroom & Online
  • Arrange & Register inhouse training – end-to-end.
  • Arrange & register external training – end-to-end.
  • Arrange and follow-up payment with Finance.
  • Arrange for materials distribution.
  • Prepare room, facilities, stationery, connectivity (Wi-Fi for external trainer) with Admin and IT
  • Arrange refreshments or lunch with the Admin for in-house training.
  • Prepare Attendance List and Feedback or Evaluation Form or Quizzes
  • Apply for HRDF Grant and Claims
  • Request for Learning Hub & Certification Hub Access – tracking and maintaining.

 

  • Adhere to corporate standards and security guidelines.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Leads/HOD

The successful applicant will display the following:

  • Efficient learning and development management including:
  • Integrating external enablement into SF 
  • Quality sourcing of External Training Providers
  • Process improvement of the learning and development management
  • Meticulous: a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management. Adept at establishing and maintaining good and effective relationships and working collaboratively with a diversity of stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree

However, we value drive, experience, skills, and abilities as well as the determination to succeed over specific qualifications.

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience as an HR Generalist with deep Learning and Development working knowledge.
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various SAP and Technical modules required by all the Business Units within the Organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong process and goal-oriented approach to work, with excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • A highly positive, motivated, confident, and proactive self-starter who can work in a team as well as independently. Solid time and task management skills as the ability to meet deadlines and targets are crucial.  Must be determined to succeed, and able to take full ownership and responsibility for own workload as well as manage competing and conflicting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a convincing and creative personality
  • Enthusiastic about learning new things, with the flexibility to quickly adapt to rapidly changing cultural and business environments with a strong desire to excel.
  • Passionate about analysing learning-related issues as well as building and improving existing processes.
  • Ensuring a proper documentation process is being implemented (softcopy and hardcopy) for easy reference in the future.
