Do you love challenges?

We are looking for an experienced SAP DBM Consultant to provide Application Management Support (AMS) for SAP Dealer Business Management (DBM), Warranty, and Automotive SD/MM processes.

The consultant will support incident management, enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and continuous service improvement. This role requires strong DBM process knowledge, integration understanding, and experience supporting automotive customers in an AMS environment.

 

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

1AMS & Production Support

  • Handle support tickets and resolve incidents within SLA
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term fixes
  • Support users during operational cycles (billing, closing activities, workshop operations)
  • Monitor DBM-related jobs, pricing routines and service order flows
  • Participate in continuous improvements and recurring issue reduction

2. SAP DBM Functional Support

Configure and support:

  • Vehicle Sales processes
  • Vehicle Service & Workshop operations
  • Appointment creation, service job order creation & updates
  • Vehicle master data (integration with VMS)
  • Warranty processing and validations
  • Service pricing, discounts, coupons, and condition-based pricing
  • Integration with MM (parts availability), FI (billing), and SD (pricing)
  • Able to perform ABAP task is advantage

3. SAP SD/MM Integration Support

  • Support parts procurement process (PR/PO) for workshop
  • Assist with MM-IM related goods movement issues (GR/GI for workshop jobs)
  • Resolve SD pricing, billing, and tax-related issues linked to DBM
  • Understand integration touchpoints with FI/CO for invoicing and revenue postings

4. Enhancements & Change Management

  • Gather and validate business requirements
  • Prepare Functional Specification (FS) for CRs / enhancements
  • Coordinate with ABAP and Integration teams
  • Conduct unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
  • Manage transport movements across the landscape

5. Automotive Domain Expertise

  • Knowledge of dealer operations, workshop workflows, and vehicle lifecycle handling
  • Experience with SAP Warranty Management is an added advantage

Qualification, Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • 4–6 years of SAP Automotive experience (DBM / VMS / Warranty / SD / MM)
    • Strong functional understanding of dealer operations, vehicle sales, service, and warranty
    • Hands-on configuration experience in DBM modules
    • Experience in AMS / Production Support environment
    • Good integration knowledge with SD, MM, and FI
    • Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
    • Solid analytical and communication skills
    • Having ABAP skill is advantage

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with SAP Warranty Management
    • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud
    • SAP certification in Automotive, SD, or MM

    Soft Skills

    • Strong stakeholder communication and user-facing abilities
    • Ability to work in a global delivery model
    • Flexible for support shifts (if required)
    • Proactive, structured, and solution-focused mindset
