We are looking for a highly experienced SAP DBM Senior Consultant (L3) to provide advanced Application Management Support (AMS) for SAP Dealer Business Management (DBM), Vehicle Management System (VMS), Warranty, and Automotive SD/MM processes.

The Senior Consultant will lead complex issue resolution, oversee design improvements, coordinate across multiple functional and technical teams, and support key stakeholders. This role requires strong DBM domain mastery, leadership-level coordination, and deep cross-module integration expertise.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• • 1. AMS & Production Support (L3)

    • Lead resolution of complex, cross-functional DBM issues across SD/MM/FI/CO.
    • Perform in-depth root cause analysis and define long-term preventive solutions.
    • Oversee stability of operational cycles (workshop operations, billing, closing).

    2. Senior-Level SAP DBM Functional Expertise

    • Lead configurations for:
    • Vehicle Sales & After-Sales
    • Workshop Service Operations
    • Warranty processes & validations
    • Vehicle Master Data (VMS integration)
    • SAP DBM pricing, vouchers, coupons, condition-based pricing
    • Able to perform ABAP task
    • Support end-to-end service order lifecycle & appointment processes.
    • Provide expert advisory in automotive dealership processes.

    3. SAP SD/MM/FI Integration

    • Resolve complex integration issues across SD, MM-IM, FI-CO.
    • Lead impact assessment for new enhancements, CRs, or process changes.
    • Ensure end-to-end correctness of billing, pricing, tax, goods movement, and account postings.

     

    4. Enhancements, Solution Design & Project Coordination

    • Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
    • Prepare and validate Functional Specifications for complex CRs.
    • Coordinate with ABAP, PI/PO, Integration & Basis teams for delivery.
    • Oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing cycles and ensure smooth transport management.

    5. Leadership & Cross-Team Coordination (Key focus area)

    • Act as primary coordinator for DBM-related initiatives within AMS & projects.
    • Align efforts between functional teams (SD, MM, FI), technical teams, and customer stakeholders.
    • Lead discussions with customers during escalations, workshops, and planning sessions.
    • Mentor L1–L2 consultants and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualification, Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6+ years SAP DBM / VMS / Automotive SD-MM experience with multiple full lifecycle cycles.
• Strong hands-on configuration in DBM modules, Warranty, and VMS.
• Deep integration understanding across SD, MM, FI/CO.
• Proven experience handling complex incidents and large-scale CRs.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Automotive.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and presentation skills.

• • Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of SAP Warranty Management.
    • Experience with S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud.
    • Ability to perform basic ABAP debugging (advantage).
