The SAP Fiori/UI5 consultant is responsible for designing and implementing new solutions using SAP’s latest UI5 / Fiori Cloud and Platform technologies. The consultant is expected to have a deep understanding of, and primary responsibility for, the development of various objects in accordance to the Technical specifications and Project standards and reviewing development programs to ensure efficiency and fine-tuning where necessary. They will also participate in determining standards and best practices within their area of technical product expertise.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Client relationship:

• Provide consulting services to clients in an efficient and effective manner, based on technical experience and expertise, during vision and strategy, architecture and development phases.
• Clarify processes to client users and business stakeholders as required; offer input and identify the relevant issues, considerations and capabilities in selecting technical solutions; and facilitate an enhanced user experience.
• Manage client expectations and balance the needs of the company and clients to ensure satisfaction for both.
• Influence decisions and project direction at the executive level
• Perform consultative selling and business through superior delivery skills, and leveraging on client relations and subject matter expertise
• Support presales effort in response to proposals, and conduct demonstrations and presentations as needed

 Project responsibilities:

• Build, test, and debug SAP Fiori applications
• Create documentation for application design, development, and support.
• Responsible for SAP UI/UX creative user centric design thinking, responsible for driving successful projects around Fiori, Mobility Strategy, and Mobile Services.
• Provide UI design guidance including security considerations, communicating with business to ensure all SAP and non-SAP apps integrate to become a cohesive enterprise solution.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional teams to ensure that work delivered meets requirements and standards both functionally and technically.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues

Key Performance Measures (KPM)

• Demonstrated knowledge of the organisation’s technical solutions offering, particularly in the use of SAP UI5 and Fiori
• Provides input and recommendations regarding new technologies and concepts for continuous improvement
• Established experience working on customer sites managing and delivering quality technical services against formal service levels and timeframes
• Ability to develop programmes to meet client requirements comprising:

-Building SAP applications with ABAP toolkit using SAP development standards

-Interface skills in handling multiple systems

-User enhancements

•  Strong demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills:

-Confidence in presenting to, and discussing solutions with, various audiences and groups of different sizes

-Experience in running and facilitating workshops

• Proven ability to support presales activities including:

-Organising solution marketing content

-Preparing sales proposals and statement of work documents including project resource plans and effort estimates

-Carry out systems demonstrations

• Build, establish and maintain trust, and strong, productive and effective relationships, including with clients, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups and individuals

Qualification, Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of system development life cycle experience, covering all project phases system development life cycle experience, covering all project phases
• Minimum of 2 years of SAPUI5 development experience
• Ability to perform assigned tasks independently and complete deliverables on-time
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs
• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies, with flexibility to quickly adapt to rapidly changing cultural and business environments with a strong desire to excel
• Solid time, task and people management skills:

– Strong organizational skills, and an ability to establish and work to priorities

– A highly positive, motivated and proactive self-starter who is able to work in a team as well as independently

• Excellent business communication skills:

– Exceptional written and verbal communication

– High quality documentation delivery, with demonstrated experience preparing report

• Adaptable to the consulting lifestyle with flexibility to travel which may be minimal or extensive depending on project requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong programming knowledge and experience using Object Orientated Design, SAP UI5, JavaScript, Java, CSS, HTML5, JSON and XML.
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori configuration and theme designer
• Strong experience using Fiori templates and design patterns
• Implementation knowledge of different types of Fiori applications
• ABAP and OData knowledge
• Development in SAP Business Application Studio
• SAP Fiori Elements and its architecture
• Excellent interpersonal communication/collaboration skillsPassionate in analysing customers’ issues as well as to build and improve existing processes
• Strong experience in troubleshooting of process problems and technical developments, as well as implementation of new functionality
