Do you love challenges?

 

The Staffing Manager is an internal delivery role and reports directly to the Service Owner.

 

He or she builds the bridge between demands coming from Global Service Area Managers and their Service Areas and queues and available resources.

 

His or her main responsibility is to ensure that delivery requests are staffed with the best fitting experts to achieve best possible delivery results for the area he or she is responsible for.

 

The Staffing Manager considers different constrains like personnel, time, organizational related needs, customer delivery limitations and actively balances resources and capacity in order to achieve above-mentioned best matching result.

 

 

Staffing Manager is accountable and responsible for:

 

■ planning and scheduling admins/ experts on daily basis (shift planning and planned activities) for Database Service, Operating System Service and High Availability/ Disaster Recovery Service

 

■ service coordination of individual efforts to reach maximum productivity of staff by assigning admins/ experts within the services to projects and customer requests based on their skills and availability

 

■ plans mid-to-long-term capacity needs and availability and creates awareness of under and over capacity situations,

 

■ manages availability together with Global Service Managers and Service Owners and supporting negotiations with Global Resource Management for additional resources

 

■ escalates resource conflicts to Global Service Managers and triggers resource requirements

 

■ maintains central capacity and availability related information about resources

 

■ maintains RAMP assignments from delivery perspective (shifts, projects, tasks)

 

■ provides feedback about people performance to delivery team leads on request 

 

■ collaborates with delivery team leads in regards to resource and capacity planning

 

■ provides a variety reports and dashboards on request for GSAM and SO, especially in terms of planned activities, OnCall and queue manager assignments

 

■ supports documentation enhancements in confluence and sharepoint

■ Work experience of at least 3 years working environment or experience in assistant positions

 

■ Effective communication skills as well as internal negotiation and de-escalation skills

 

■ Ideally first experience in an international environment 

 

■ Consistently driving results, even under tough circumstances

 

■ High degree of reliability and thoroughness

 

■ Good communications skills and team player

 

■ High planning and organizational skills

 

■ Good skills in operating in MS Excel and MS Sharepoint

 

■ Business fluent in written and spoken English, ideally also in German
