Role Overview
The SAP FI & CO Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and seamless integration with other SAP modules. This senior-level role requires deep functional expertise, leadership skills, and experience in complex SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration:

•    Configure FI sub-modules: General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
•    Configure CO sub-modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA).

•    Set up tax procedures, payment terms, and financial closing processes.
•    Implement cost planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Integration:
•    Ensure smooth integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams for blueprinting and fit-to-standard workshops.
•    Project Management
•    Lead requirement gathering, functional specifications, and solution design.
•    Manage full lifecycle projects: implementation, rollouts, migrations, and support.
•    Conduct SIT/UAT testing and resolve defects.
•    Compliance & Reporting
•    Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and internal audit controls.
•    Drive automation and standardization of financial reporting and cost control processes.
•    Support & Training
•    Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot FI/CO issues.
•    Conduct end-user training and prepare documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
•    SAP Expertise
•    8–14 years of SAP experience with at least 7+ years in FI/CO.
•    Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functionalities.
•    Experience with SAP Treasury, Funds Management, Actual Costing and Group Reporting
•    Strong knowledge of Activate methodology and SAP best practices.
•    Technical & Functional Skills
•    Deep understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
•    Proficiency in configuration, customization, and integration of FI/CO modules.
•    Knowledge of interfaces (EDI/IDOC) and Fiori applications.
•    Soft Skills
•    Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
•    Ability to lead teams and mentor junior consultants.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
•    C.A / I.C.W. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
•    SAP FI/CO certification (preferred).
•    Proven track record of 4+ end-to-end implementations and multiple rollouts/support projects.
Nice-to-Have Skills
•    Knowledge of SAP Cloud solutions and integration with BTP.
•    Exposure to advanced reporting tools and analytics.
