As the SAP Public Cloud Delivery Management Practice Lead at NDBS, you will play a pivotal role in leading our SAP Public Cloud delivery practice. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of SAP Public Cloud projects, driving excellence in delivery, client satisfaction, and practice growth.

 

Key tasks & activities

Responsible for managing and expanding Project and Programme managers within this sector. Accountable for supporting and guiding the team to successful project outcomes across the SAP Public Cloud engagements, whilst also being actively engaged on projects as a Programme Director or Senior Sponsor.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to embrace the future direction of SAP programmes with the adoption and enhancement of the delivery approach utilising the latest best practice tools. A significant part of the role will also involve engagement in pre-sales opportunities to help shape and validate propositions to be competitive whilst being able to deliver a quality outcome for the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Practice Leadership: Strategic leadership and direction to the SAP Public Cloud delivery practice, setting clear objectives and driving the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of SAP Public Cloud projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Client Engagement: Active client engagement in the role of Project Sponsor or Delivery Director. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives, and providing expert guidance on SAP Public Cloud solutions and services.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of SAP Public Cloud delivery managers and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources to support project activities, optimise resource utilisation, and ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices to maintain high standards of project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimise disruptions and ensure the successful outcome of SAP Public Cloud projects.
  • Tolls and templates: Embrace and develop best of breed templates to provide differentiation and effective delivery models.
  • Practice Development: Drive the growth and development of the SAP Public Cloud delivery practice, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Experience and background

  • University degree level education.
  • Experience in Public Cloud delivery management preferably SAP, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex Public Cloud projects and programmes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Deep understanding of Public Cloud technologies, platforms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
