Position Description:

The Director, PMO, Small Enterprise will provide leadership within the NTT DATA Business Solutions’ (NDBS) Consulting PMO, Small Enterprise Team.  The Director, PMO, Small Enterprise is responsible for overseeing program and project managers and will have key responsibility for people growth and development within the PMO responsible for delivery of NDBS’ Small Enterprise projects.  In this capacity, the Director, PMO, Small Enterprise is responsible for managing the development, adoption, education, and adherence of NDBS project management methodology, tools and templates.  Strong project management skills are required.  In addition, the role will have Project Management and/or Engagement Leader responsibilities for one or more projects in a billable capacity.  This is a dual role responsible for PMO Resource Management and Project Governance & Methodology and also responsible for Project Manager or Engagement Director responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

PMO Resource Management

• Recruitment and on-boarding of new Project Managers
• Coaching and Mentoring of Project and Program managers
• Development program: Project managers from internal employee pool
• Annual Evaluations and Compensation Planning
• Foster collaboration between Project management, Consulting and Engagement Director groups
• Responsible for managing escalations related to PMO

PMO Project Governance and Methodology

• Design and implement project management tools and templates in the inSight environment for all LOBs and in alignment with the activate+ methodology
• Improve and Innovate our Project Methodology and Tools/Templates
• Provide a foundation for discipline, education, monitoring and institutionalization of Predictive Project Management for all phases and types of project delivery
• Project Portfolio Management and PMO delivery quality- KPI definition and monitoring (Risk Management, Schedule Attainment, Profitability and Sourcing)
• Advocate and educator of NDBS project methodology to entire organization
• Special assignments as needed for Global collaboration
• Accurate reporting to NDBS Leadership – Project Status, Risks, Backlogs, Resource requirements and more
• Own the methodology, inSight and other PMO sales support process and execution
• Collaborate with all other LOBs (AMS, Hosting, P&A, CX, etc.) in developing, implementing and monitoring the Project Management processes

Self-Development

• 3-5 relevant Open SAP course participation every year
• 2-3 Personal Development course participation every year
• Enhanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SharePoint
• Stay current on new methodologies and incorporate as need

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent experience
• 10 plus years of experience in SAP implementations
• Proficiency in SAP Activate Methodology for Cloud
• Ability to coach team on Cloud and Agile mindset
• 8 or more years of SAP project management experience
• Project scoping, estimating, and planning experience required
• Experience across multiple industries
• Ability to lead strategic workshops with clients
• Well versed in Microsoft office products
• Experience with managing 5 to 10 direct reports
• Ownership attitude
• Experience in managing escalations

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $139,044 - $250,060.  The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
