Position Title:                                 Solution Architect, MM/WM

Position Location:                         10856 Reed Hartman Highway, Cincinnati, OH, 45242 and unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.

Hours:                                             Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties: Act as a leader and higher-level consultant on assigned SAP Materials Management/Warehouse Management (MM/WM) implementation projects. Maneuver through complex and political organizations with multiple stakeholders. Recommend solutions and alternatives, which address the immediate goals and anticipates the future direction of the business, its drivers, and technology strategy. Develop business cases to help customer justify effort. Analyze and map client business requirements. Lead and facilitate design or blueprinting workshops, assessments, and planning sessions. Demonstrate leadership in projects and engagements. Proactively facilitate complex design and technical discussions, reconciling differing opinions and driving decision-making process. Translate technical discussions into business language for senior management. Develop SAP solutions. Configure in multiple SAP modules or application areas. Lead solution, business, and implementation design sessions to define the configuration or development required. Be the leader for executing configuration and development through other assigned resources. Develop, lead, and orchestrate integrated testing plans identifying areas of risk and including plans to mitigate those risks. Coach the customer to develop a complete testing solution including test plans mapped to requirements, text execution plans, tracking results, and resolving defects. Lead assigned team of resources. Lead functional specialists, both onsite and offshore, and assist in configuring the solution. Make recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of the SAP applications, as well as integration with third party systems. Make recommendations on what other complementary software may enhance the SAP investment. Collaborate with Sales, Developers, Consultants, Project Managers, and Service Delivery Managers to identify, design, lead the solution architecture, and lead implementation for clients. Demonstrate cross-functional leadership, the ability to look at the end-to-end process and understand how it fits together, and the ability to identify key points of integration. Lead classroom training and webinars for internal consultants, clients, and prospects. Demonstrate through leadership in respective field by presenting at conferences and forums, writing whitepapers and blogs, and developing “As the Expert” sessions.

Requires up to 100% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Multiple positions available. May work remotely.

Qualifications:  Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business or related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience in any computer related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business or related field and five (5) years in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in any computer related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Requires extensive experience with SAP project implementations and support experiences across multiple modules/submodules and across application areas. Requires experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP MM/WM project implementations. Requires integration experience with other process areas. Requires leadership experience on SAP MM/WM implementation/support projects. Requires experience configuring multiple SAP modules and experience across multiple industries. Requires excellent communication skills in a client facing position. Requires up to 100% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Multiple positions available. May work remotely.

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $128,383 - $195,328.  The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
