Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Commerce Automation / SAP Ariba CIG Consultant with 8–14 years of IT experience and strong expertise in SAP Ariba Business Network integrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing and supporting SAP Ariba Commerce Automation, SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), and SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios. The role requires strong functional and technical knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, supplier enablement, electronic document exchange, and integration architecture.

Key Responsibilities
SAP Ariba Commerce Automation
Lead and support end-to-end SAP Ariba Commerce Automation implementations and enhancements.
Configure and manage supplier transaction automation through SAP Ariba Business Network.
Design and implement electronic document exchange processes between buyers and suppliers.
Support automation of:
Purchase Orders (PO)
Order Confirmations
Advance Ship Notices (ASN)
Service Entry Sheets
Goods Receipts
Invoices
Credit Memos
Ensure seamless supplier collaboration and transaction processing.
SAP Ariba CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)
Design, configure, and deploy SAP Ariba CIG integration solutions.
Manage integration between SAP Ariba and:
SAP ECC
SAP S/4HANA
SAP Business Network
Configure and maintain CIG mappings, routing rules, and transaction monitoring.
Troubleshoot integration failures and transaction processing issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Integration & Technical Activities
Work closely with middleware and technical teams for integration design.
Support XML/cXML payload mapping and validation.
Manage inbound and outbound integration scenarios.
Coordinate interface testing and defect resolution.
Support migration from legacy integration methods to CIG.
Supplier Enablement
Collaborate with suppliers during onboarding and enablement activities.
Support testing and validation of supplier transactions.
Drive supplier adoption of automated commerce processes.
Resolve supplier connectivity and transaction issues.
Project Delivery
Participate in requirement gathering workshops and solution design discussions.
Prepare functional and technical design documents.
Execute SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.
Provide hypercare and production support.
Ensure project deliverables are completed within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
Work with procurement, supply chain, accounts payable, and IT teams.
Communicate integration architecture and business process impacts to stakeholders.
Provide best-practice recommendations for commerce automation and supplier collaboration.
Mentor junior consultants and support team capability development.
Required Skills
8–14 years of overall IT experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba Commerce Automation and SAP Ariba CIG.

Certifications (Preferred)
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Ariba Integration with Cloud Integration Gateway.
SAP Ariba Commerce Automation Certification.
SAP Ariba Business Network-related certifications.
SAP S/4HANA Procurement Certifications.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
