Position Overview
The SAP BASIS Architect – L4 is a senior architecture role within NTT DATA Business Solutions, responsible for designing, planning, and delivering robust SAP technical landscapes for enterprise customers.

This role requires deep expertise in SAP BASIS administration, SAP architecture, cloud migration strategy, system sizing, performance optimization, and technical solution design across complex SAP landscapes. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, infrastructure teams, and customers to define future-state architecture, support transformation programs, and ensure high-quality solution delivery.

The role also requires strong consulting capability, architecture leadership, and the ability to align business requirements with scalable and secure SAP technical solutions.

Responsibilitie…
Lead the architecture, design, and planning of complex SAP technical landscapes in enterprise environments.
Gather and understand business and technical requirements, and translate them into robust SAP BASIS and infrastructure solutions.
Provide high-level architecture, infrastructure planning, system sizing, and future-state landscape design for SAP environments.
Create functional and technical documentation, architecture 
recommendations…
 and deployment strategies.
Assess and define migration strategies for SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and cloud transformation programs.
Lead or support *SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, conversion, and 
transformation
… initiatives.
Design and manage multi-landscape SAP environments, ensuring alignment with standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Provide expertise in high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, performance tuning, and business continuity planning.
Collaborate with SAP teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders to support solution design and delivery.
Review, recommend, and deploy technical and application solutions across SAP platforms.
Support RFP responses, solution proposals, and technical estimations.
Contribute to proofs of concept, proofs of value, technical innovation initiatives, and competency development.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to strategic roadmaps for SAP applications, digitalization, and infrastructure.
Manage priorities across multiple assignments and provide leadership in complex project environments.
Contribute to financial impact analysis and support evaluation of technology solution options.

Strong experience in enterprise SAP architecture and technical solution design
Proven experience in S/4HANA

Experience in professional services, consulting, or equivalent customer-facing roles

B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent technical degree in a relevant field
Certifications
