ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Consultant

Role / Position Title: Consultant - Security Operations (VR)    Required Experience: 3 - 6 Years
Department / Practice: ServiceNow Center of Excellence    Location: Flexible / Remote / Onsite

Position Overview
We are hiring a ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), specifically focusing on Vulnerability Response (VR) and Configuration Compliance. You will work closely with security engineering teams to streamline vulnerability management, automation, and remediation tracking.
Key Responsibilities
•    Configure, implement, and maintain ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and SecOps modules.
•    Integrate ServiceNow VR with third-party vulnerability scanners such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
•    Design and build automated remediation workflows, assignment rules, risk scoring models, and exception handling processes.
•    Collaborate with CMDB teams to ensure accurate mapping between vulnerable items and Configuration Items (CIs).
•    Build custom SecOps dashboards, reports, and performance analytics to provide visibility into enterprise vulnerability posture.
•    Provide support for platform upgrades, troubleshooting scanner integrations, and platform maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills Required
•    3 to 6 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration and development, with 2+ years dedicated to ServiceNow SecOps / Vulnerability Response.
•    Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability lifecycle management, CVE/CVSS scoring frameworks, and patch management processes.
•    Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer).
•    Experience configuring integrations with vulnerability assessment tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
•    Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB structure and CI relationships.
•    Strong problem-solving abilities and effective cross-team communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
•    Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR)
•    Certified System Administrator (CSA)
•    CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (Desirable)
