Job Description:

Automation Tester – Brokeage Domain

Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad – hybrid
•    Strong brokerage domain knowledge is a must.
•    Minimum 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in a brokerage environment.
•    Retirement/investment knowledge is a strong plus.
•    AWS certification and hands-on cloud experience are a must-have.
•    Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, and EventBridge.
•    Experience validating serverless workflows and event-driven architectures.
•    Experience troubleshooting distributed applications using CloudWatch logs and monitoring tools.
•    Experience working with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and contract-first API development.
•    Strong understanding of HTTP methods, REST principles, headers, cookies, rate limiting, and response codes.
•    Hands-on experience with API automation testing for REST/SOAP using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
•    Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium/Playwright with Java and Python.cc
•    3+ years of Python/Java automation programming experience is a must.
•    Strong understanding of reusable automation architecture and data-driven testing.
•    Experience testing distributed microservices and complex system integrations.
•    Experience testing asynchronous messaging using Kafka or similar event-driven platforms.
•    Experience validating end-to-end data flow across multiple services, queues, and downstream systems.
•    Experience testing API gateway solutions such as Kong or AWS API Gateway.
•    Experience validating authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, etc.
•    Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
•    Experience testing enterprise integrations involving multiple upstream and downstream applications.
•    Experience validating integrations with third-party vendors and external consumers.
•    Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across APIs, middleware, logs, and cloud services.
•    Ability to analyze application logs and trace requests across multiple services.
•    Able to work independently, manage priorities, and drive tasks to completion.
