Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Lead Consultant / Solution Architect with 14+ years of SAP experience, including extensive expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The candidate will lead large-scale global implementations, solution design, business transformation initiatives, and support programs across warehouse and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong domain knowledge in warehouse management, logistics execution, supply chain processes, and SAP S/4HANA EWM, with the ability to engage business stakeholders and drive end-to-end solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Lead SAP EWM solution design, architecture, implementation, and deployment activities.
Design scalable warehouse management solutions aligned with business objectives.
Conduct business process assessments and recommend industry best practices.
Define EWM architecture and integration strategy with SAP and non-SAP applications.
Lead fit-gap analysis workshops and solution blueprinting sessions.

Configure and support key SAP EWM processes including:
Inbound Processing
Outbound Processing
Internal Warehouse Movements
Physical Inventory
Cross-Docking
Slotting and Rearrangement
Wave Management
Yard Management
Labor Management
Kitting and Value-Added Services (VAS)
Handling Unit Management
RF Framework
Serial Number Management
Batch Management
Integration Management
Drive integration between SAP EWM and:
SAP S/4HANA
SAP MM
SAP SD
SAP PP
SAP QM
SAP TM
SAP MES
Third-Party Warehouse Automation Systems
Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Project Leadership
Lead end-to-end implementation, rollout, upgrade, and migration projects.
Manage project deliverables, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Mentor junior consultants and functional teams.
Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams across multiple geographies.
Support pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and effort estimations.
Business Process Improvement
Analyze warehouse operations and identify process optimization opportunities.
Drive automation initiatives and warehouse digital transformation programs.
Recommend best practices for inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, and operational efficiency.
Support warehouse KPI reporting and analytics initiatives.
Required Skills
14+ years of SAP experience with at least 8+ years in SAP EWM.
Multiple end-to-end SAP EWM implementation experience.
Strong expertise in:
SAP EWM Embedded and Decentralized EWM
SAP S/4HANA EWM
Warehouse Process Design
Inventory Management
Logistics Execution
Supply Chain Operations
Experience with RF Framework and Mobile Warehouse Solutions.
Strong knowledge of warehouse automation and integration with:

Robotics Solutions
Expertise in warehouse master data and organizational structure design.
Experience in integration with SAP TM, PP, QM, SD, and MM modules.
Strong configuration, testing, and deployment experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP EWM Certification.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration Projects.
Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Experience with warehouse automation vendors and MHE integration.
Familiarity with SAP Activate and Agile project methodologies.
Experience in global template design and multi-country rollouts.
Leadership Expectations
Act as SAP EWM Solution Architect for strategic programs.
Lead customer workshops and executive-level discussions.
Drive governance, quality assurance, and solution standardization.
Provide thought leadership in warehouse transformation initiatives.
Guide teams on SAP best practices and emerging warehouse technologies.
