Job Summary:
The position of Commercial Finance Analyst will provide operational, analytical, and reporting support for the Hosting Services portfolio. The role is responsible for maintaining financial and operational trackers, supporting forecasting activities, preparing financial analysis, coordinating WBS governance activities, and assisting with month-end cost validation and invoicing processes. The analyst will work closely with Delivery Operations, Finance, Business, and GBMS teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information and reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Contract & Commercial Administration
•    Maintain the Hosting Services Contract Register, including contract start/end dates, renewals, commercial owners, and invoicing details.
•    Maintain the Intercompany Service Agreement (ISA) tracker and Change Request (CR) register.
•    Track annual contract renewals, service extensions, and new service additions.
•    Ensure contract and commercial records remain accurate and up to date.
Financial Data Management
•    Collect, validate, and maintain monthly revenue and cost data across Hosting Services customers.
•    Support revenue, cost, and margin tracking at customer and portfolio levels.
•    Reconcile financial information across multiple systems and data sources.
•    Maintain financial trackers and supporting documentation.

WBS Governance
•    Coordinate with Finance teams to establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
•    Maintain a comprehensive WBS register, including funding type, billing model, customer alignment, status, and ownership.
•    Ensure accurate linkage between contracts, revenue streams, costs, and WBS structures.
Forecasting & Analysis
•    Prepare monthly revenue, cost, and margin reports.
•    Support forecasting and budgeting activities by gathering and validating financial inputs.
•    Perform variance analysis between forecast, budget, and actual results.
•    Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for review by management.
Month-End Financial Support
•    Support month-end financial close activities.
•    Assist with cost forecast validation and invoice readiness reviews.
•    Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting schedules.
•    Investigate and track unresolved financial transactions and discrepancies.
Reporting & Dashboarding
•    Produce regular financial and commercial reports for management review.
•    Maintain dashboards and trackers related to revenue, costs, margins, forecasts, and contract performance.
•    Ensure reporting accuracy and timely delivery of information.
Issue Tracking & Resolution
•    Maintain financial and commercial issue logs.
•    Investigate dummy account postings, unmatched costs, and commercial asymmetry issues.
•    Coordinate with Finance, Business, and Delivery teams to support issue resolution.
•    Escalate risks and unresolved matters appropriately.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong logical and analytic skills with the ability to assess and validate large volumes of data to ensure compliance with a set of pre-determined standards and methods for data control. Experience of Finance, Commercial Operations, FP&A, Financial Analysis and data quality control would be an advantage in this role. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to manage multiple trackers, reports, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Personal Profile/Experience:
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate that they have strong understanding of financial concepts including revenue, costs, margins, forecasting, reconciliations and reporting. You’ll also need to be a self-starter who is process orientated with a good background in finance, data analysis and reporting. 
Confidence in verbal and written communication, is key to this role to allow ease of explanations to handle queries from a range of stakeholders up to Team Manager level. You’ll bring ideas, energy and enthusiasm to a growing team and business.
