Role Summary:

 

  • SAP Techno-Functional Demo Specialist is a key member of the offshore Pre-Sales team, responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering high-impact SAP solution demonstrations aligned with customer business scenarios. This role bridges functional business understanding with technical SAP expertise to support sales pursuits, RFPs, and solution validations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Pre-Sales & Solution Enablement Partner with onshore pre-sales, sales, and solution architects to understand customer requirements and deal objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into end-to-end SAP demo scenarios and value-driven solution narratives.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with solution descriptions, system architecture inputs, and demo strategies.
  • Demo Design & Execution -Configure SAP systems (S/4HANA and/or SAP LoB solutions) to reflect industry-specific and client-specific use cases.
  • Build and maintain reusable demo assets, scripts, test data, and presentation flows.
  • Deliver live, remote, or recorded SAP demos to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Rapidly customize demos based on evolving sales conversations and customer feedback.

 

Techno-Functional Expertise

 

  • Provide techno-functional inputs across SAP modules such as:
  • S/4HANA (Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, SD/MM, etc.)
  • SAP BTP, Fiori, Analytics, Industry Cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and system connectivity needed for demos.
  • Troubleshoot demo system issues and ensure demo readiness within tight timelines.
  • Asset & Knowledge Management
  • Maintain demo environments, documentation, and best practices repositories.
  • Contribute to demo standardization, accelerators, and reusable industry solutions.
  • Stay current with SAP roadmap, innovations, and best-practice processes.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Technical & Functional Skills

Strong techno-functional experience in SAP (minimum one core module plus cross-functional understanding).

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps.
  • Ability to configure SAP systems for business scenarios (beyond theoretical knowledge).
  • Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and basic architecture.
  • Pre-Sales & Communication Skills
  • Experience supporting pre-sales, demos, PoCs, or customer workshops.
  • Strong storytelling ability—explaining “business value” alongside system functionality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global (onshore/offshore) collaboration.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven sales cycles.

 

Experience & Education 

  • 9+ Years of SAP experience (flexible based on role level).
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or demo delivery preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business, or equivalent.
    SAP certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced Expertise (Preferred)
  • Strong experience leading key SAP AI initiatives.
  • Hands-on expertise across: SAP BTP, Automation AI, GenAI, RPA, ABAP, Web Dynpro, UI5, SAC, JSON, Python.
    Skilled in end-to-end solution delivery, including:
  • Functional design (SD, MM, FI, QM, Ariba).
  • Data structuring, model development, dashboard integration within SAP Sales Cloud.
  • Demonstrated capability in improving AI/ML solution performance through:
  • Advanced algorithmic optimization.
  • Effective collaboration between business and technology teams to resolve model-level challenges.
  • Deep understanding of Presales, SAP Solutions, and GenAI capabilities across the SAP ecosystem.
  • Work Environment Offshore delivery model with close alignment to onshore sales and pre-sales teams.
