Role: SAP PPQM Lead Consultant

Job Description:
As an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant, you will support our customers remotely and occasionally onsite, ensuring optimal and stable operation of complex SAP applications. You will be a key contact person and solution architect, helping clients transform their manufacturing and quality processes using SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead and deliver SAP PP, QM, and PM solutions across Discrete, Process, and Repetitive Manufacturing environments.

•    Design and configure Demand Management, MRP, Shop Floor Control, and Variant Configuration processes.

•    Implement and support Inspection Planning, Results Processing, Certificate Management, Notifications, and Test Equipment Management.

•    Configure Technical Objects, Order Processing, Preventive Maintenance Planning, and Work Scheduling.

•    Integrate SAP PP/QM with SD, MM, WM, FICO modules.

•    Work on S/4HANA, Fiori apps, and SAP Best Practices.

•    Handle RICEFW objects and interface technologies including IDOCs and X-Steps.

•    Provide solution architecture for at least two end-to-end SAP projects.

•    Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

•    Participate in client meetings, solution pitches, RFP/RFI responses, and presentations.

Required Skills & Experience:
•    7 to 12 years of SAP PPQM experience, with 2–3 years of domain/industry experience.

•   Strong knowledge of Batch Management, Variant Configuration, Functional Locations, Equipment BOMs, Task Lists, and MROs.

•    Expertise in verticals such as Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Auto, Pharma, BFSI, Metals, Telecom.

•    Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.

•    Ability to work independently and proactively with strong ownership.

•    Willingness to travel for project-specific needs.

•    Strong SAP PP expertise with proven hands-on experience in Variant Configuration (VC), including end-to-end configuration and solution design.

•    Prior project experience in industrial manufacturing and electrical OEM environments, especially in scenarios involving complex and configurable products.

•    SAP S/4HANA Production Planning certification is mandatory.
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage requirements in engineering-focused manufacturing operations.

•    Experience in integrating SAP PP/VC with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
•    Knowledge and implementation experience of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Make-to-Order (MTO) planning strategies in S/4HANA projects

General Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Applications, or related fields (B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M. Tech, ME, MS).

•    Team player with leadership qualities.
