Job Description: SAP PS Consultant (10–14 Years Experience)
Role Overview
The SAP PS Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Project Systems module, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and alignment with business processes. This is a senior-level role requiring strong functional expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience in complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
•    Implementation & Configuration
•    Configure SAP PS structures: WBS elements, networks, milestones, planning profiles, and budgeting.
•    Customize project profiles, coding masks, user status, validations, and substitutions.
•    Set up cost and revenue planning, budgeting, and settlement profiles.
•    Implement Results Analysis (cost-based and revenue-based methods).
•    Integration
•    Ensure smooth integration with FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, and PM modules.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams for fit-to-standard workshops and blueprinting.
•    Project Management
•    Lead requirement gathering, blueprint preparation, and functional specifications.
•    Manage full lifecycle projects: implementation, rollouts, migrations, and support.
•    Conduct SIT/UAT testing and defect resolution.
•    Support & Optimization
•    Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot SAP PS issues.
•    Optimize processes for capital investment, ETO, cost projects, and customer projects.
•    Documentation & Training
•    Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
•    Conduct end-user training and create comprehensive documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
SAP Expertise
•    10–14 years of SAP experience with at least 8+ years in SAP PS.
•    Hands-on experience in S/4HANA PS functionalities and migration cockpit.
•    Strong knowledge of Activate methodology and SAP best practices.
Technical & Functional Skills
•    Deep understanding of project management principles.
•    Proficiency in cost planning, revenue planning, material planning, and procurement processes.
•    Knowledge of interfaces (EDI/IDOC) and Fiori applications.
Soft Skills
•    Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
•    Ability to lead teams and mentor junior consultants.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
•    SAP PS certification (preferred).
•    Proven track record of 4+ end-to-end implementations and multiple rollouts/support projects.
Nice-to-Have
•    Experience with SAP CPM & PPM.
•    Knowledge of SAP Cloud solutions (Ariba, Fieldglass).
•    Exposure to integration with BTP and advanced reporting tools.
