Role Overview
The SAP Data Migration Consultant is responsible for planning, developing, and executing end-to-end data migration activities across SAP landscapes. The role requires strong ABAP development expertise to support data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation in complex migration scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
SAP Data Migration
•    Execute end-to-end SAP data migration activities across multiple project phases
•    Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using standard and custom approaches
•    Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities
•    Support mock runs, dress rehearsals, and production cutover
•    Perform data reconciliation and ensure data accuracy and completeness
•    Collaborate with functional teams to resolve data inconsistencies and business rule gaps
ABAP Development
•    Develop ABAP programs for data extraction, transformation, and validation
•    Build reconciliation and audit reports to support migration verification
•    Debug and enhance existing ABAP programs related to data migration
•    Optimize ABAP code for performance and large data volumes
•    Support migration-related issues during testing and cutover phases

Mandatory Skills
Technical
•    Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development (reports, function modules, debugging)
•    Extensive experience in SAP data migration projects
•    Working knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, MM, or SD
•    Experience with SAP data migration tools (BODS, Data Migration Cockpit, LSMW, or custom programs)
•    Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Functional & Process
•    Understanding of SAP data structures and business data dependencies
•    Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and audit readiness
•    Ability to manage high-volume and business-critical data

•    S/4HANA migration exposure
•    CVI and finance data migration experience
•    Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
