Job Description – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to support the design, development, implementation, and support of SAC Planning and Reporting solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and project teams to deliver scalable analytics and planning solutions that enable effective decision-making and business performance management.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and support SAP Analytics Cloud stories, dashboards, and analytical applications.
•    Develop and maintain SAC Planning models, versions, allocations, data actions, and multi-actions.
•    Configure and support planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and scenario modelling.
•    Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution designs.
•    Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities across source systems and SAC.
•    Support data integration with SAP and non-SAP source systems including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SQL databases, and other enterprise applications.
•    Participate in workshops, requirement gathering sessions, UAT activities, and defect resolution.
•    Provide production support and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and delivery timelines.
•    Prepare functional specifications, design documents, and knowledge transfer materials.
•    Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions and project outcomes.
•    Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development within the practice.
Required Skills
•    7–10 years of overall SAP experience with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud.
•    Strong expertise in SAC Planning including:
o    Planning Models and Dimensions
o    Data Actions and Multi Actions
o    Allocations and Driver-Based Planning
o    Version Management
o    Calendar Processes and Workflow
o    Data Imports and Integration
•    Experience in developing SAC Stories, dashboards, and management reports using best practices.
•    Good understanding of SAC security concepts and role-based access controls.
•    Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise data sources.
•    Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
•    Experience in stakeholder management, requirement gathering, and solution design.
Good to Have
•    Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
•    Knowledge of SAC Predictive Planning capabilities.
•    Exposure to SAP Group Reporting or SAC Consolidation processes.
•    SAP Analytics Cloud certification.
