Role Summary
The SAP SuccessFactors (SF) Bid Management / Presales Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end bid and proposal activities for SAP SuccessFactors opportunities. The role ensures high-quality, compliant, and competitive RFP/RFI/RFQ responses by coordinating across Sales, SF Solution Architects, Delivery/AMS, Finance, and Legal. The consultant supports pursuits across SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, Time Tracking, and Workforce Analytics, including integrations, data migration, security/role design, change management, and post-go-live support (AMS).
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle for SAP SuccessFactors opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, and presentations (new implementation, rollout, optimization, and AMS/support pursuits)
• Interpret client RFP requirements and evaluation criteria and translate them into a compliant response structure
• Develop and manage compliance matrices, response outlines, and submission checklists
• Coordinate inputs across Sales, Presales, SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architects/SMEs, Delivery/AMS leads, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams
• Facilitate bid kick‑off calls, content workshops, review cycles, and final sign‑offs
• Ensure proposal content aligns with the SuccessFactors solution scope and delivery approach, including module scope (e.g., EC/Recruiting/Onboarding), global rollout strategy, data migration approach, integration design (SAP BTP/CPI, IAS/IPS, 3rd-party), security/role concept, testing, cutover, training, and hypercare/AMS assumptions and dependencies
• Leverage GenAI and RFP automation tools throughout the pursuit management lifecycle.
• Track risks, assumptions, dependencies, and action items throughout the bid lifecycle
• Ensure reuse of approved SAP SuccessFactors proposal assets, case studies, client references, CVs, and standard responses
• Perform final quality checks for compliance, messaging consistency, formatting, and submission readiness
• Manage proposal production and ensure on‑time submission through client portals and procurement platforms
• Maintain bid trackers, win/loss insights, and lessons learned for continuous improvement of SAP SuccessFactors pursuits
• Support commercial shaping activities such as scope clarifications, assumptions, exclusions, and change control approach in coordination with Sales and Delivery teams
• Work closely with Sales and Delivery teams to develop and update SAP SuccessFactors case studies (e.g., global rollouts, recruitment transformation, HR digitalization, integrations, and post-go-live optimization/AMS)
• Build SAP SuccessFactors RFP/RFI response content by reusing previously approved responses and ensuring review and validation by SF solution and delivery teams
• Work with the Marketing team to update proposal content such as company revenue, number of clients, employee count, and credentials
• Create and validate effort estimates and high-level plans based on SuccessFactors scope, modules, rollout waves, configuration/build activities, integrations, data migration, security/roles, testing, training, and hypercare/AMS requirements
• Create and refine PowerPoint presentations for client orals
• Experience working with SharePoint sites to manage proposal libraries, including case studies, standard RFP content, and active pursuits
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Bid Management / Proposal Management for SAP SuccessFactors and/or HXM services
• Hands‑on experience working on proposals and pursuits for the UK region
• Experience managing RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, proposal development, and bid timelines for SAP SuccessFactors programs (implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and optimization/AMS), covering modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, Time Tracking, and Analytics
• Ability to create client‑facing collateral such as presentations, case studies, and proposal assets
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
• Clear, concise business writing skills with the ability to consolidate SME inputs into client‑ready proposals
• Strong planning and execution skills with experience managing risks, issues, and deadlines
• Working knowledge of SuccessFactors delivery terminology and artifacts (module scope/configuration, business rules/workflows, role-based permissions, MDF objects, integrations, data migration, testing, change management, and AMS) to manage proposal content with SMEs
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word
