Job Title:    Senior SAP SAC Consultant – Consolidation & Planning
Level:    Senior-Level (8–10 years’ experience)
Location:    India
Primary Focus:    SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – Consolidation
Secondary Focus:    SAC Planning

Job Summary
We are seeking a senior-level SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Consolidation and working knowledge of SAC Planning. The role will primarily focus on designing and implementing consolidation solutions, while also supporting planning use cases, data models, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Consolidation (Primary Focus)
•    Design and implement SAP SAC Consolidation solutions aligned with statutory and management reporting.
•    Configure end-to-end consolidation processes, including:
–    Legal and management consolidation
–    Intercompany eliminations and reconciliation
–    Ownership structures and step acquisitions
–    Currency translation and constant currency
•    Execute and monitor consolidation cycles — data collection, validations, eliminations, and reporting.
•    Prepare and validate group financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Equity).
•    Handle consolidation journals, adjustments, and data validations.
•    Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Planning (Secondary but Required)
•    Develop and maintain SAC Planning models and input templates.
•    Support planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and driver-based planning.
•    Configure data actions, allocations, and calculations.
•    Build and enhance planning stories and dashboards.
•    Assist in UAT, validation, and user support for planning modules.
General Responsibilities
•    Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
•    Support data integration from SAP and non-SAP systems.
•    Perform data reconciliation and issue resolution.
•    Participate in SIT, UAT, go-live, and hyper care support.
•    Provide ongoing enhancements and support.

Required Skills & Experience
Financial Knowledge: Consolidation. 
At least 3+ years of experience in SAP SAC / Financial Consolidation solutions.

Strong Financial Knowledge
•    Strong understanding of financial statements and consolidation processes.
•    Intercompany eliminations, ownership structures, and currency translation.
Technical Skills
•    SAP SAC Planning – hands-on expertise.
Platform & Functional Experience
•    SAC models, dimensions, and business rules.
•    Planning functionalities: data actions, allocations, and input templates.
•    Multi-entity and multi-currency environments.

Good to Have
•    Experience with SAP Group Reporting or SAP BPC.
•    Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP accounting standards.
•    Exposure to S/4HANA Finance integration.
•    Experience in end-to-end SAC implementations.

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Effective communication with finance stakeholders.
•    Ability to work to tight timelines during financial close cycles.
•    Proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    CA / CPA / MBA Finance (preferred).
