Job Description:

SAP CO Consultant –  (5 to 8 Years Experience)
Role Overview:
The SAP CO Consultant (L2) is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Controlling (CO) processes across ECC and S/4HANA environments. The role requires working closely with Finance, Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to build efficient cost-control solutions and ensure smooth FI/MM/PP/SD integration.

Key Responsibilities
1.  Implementation & Configuration
     Handle end to end configuration, rollouts, and enhancements in key CO areas:
•    Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
•    Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
•    Internal Orders
•    Product Costing (Standard/Actual, WIP, Release)
•    Material Ledger & Actual Costing
•    Profitability Analysis (CO PA)
•    Margin Analysis (S/4HANA)
•    Configure CO master data, cost elements, activity types, allocation cycles, assessment/distribution cycles
•    Create functional specifications for RICEFW objects

2.  Business Analysis & Solution Design
•    Facilitate requirement workshops and fit–gap analysis
•    Translate business needs into effective SAP CO solutions
•    Recommend best practice process improvements

3.  Testing, Training & Documentation
•    Prepare test scenarios and support Unit Testing / SIT / UAT
•    Conduct end user training
•    Prepare CO process documentation and SOPs

4.  Production Support
•    Troubleshoot CO issues across: 
o    Month end closing
o    WIP
o    Variance calculation
o    Settlement
o    Overhead calculation
•    Support data migration: mapping, validation, reconciliation

5.  Integration
•    Ensure seamless integration with FI/MM/PP/SD
•    Coordinate with ABAP/Fiori teams for enhancements and custom developments

Required Skills & Experience
•    5–8 years hands on SAP CO experience
•    Minimum 1 E2E implementation (ECC or S/4HANA)
•    Expertise in: 
o    Product Costing
o    Material Ledger
o    CO PA & Margin Analysis
o    Cost Allocations, Settlements, Overheads
•    Strong analytical and problem solving capability

Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / IT / Engineering
•    SAP CO Certification preferred
•    Experience with S/4HANA Controlling simplifications
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
