Job Description:

The Senior EH&S role is a key and influencing role within the NTT DATA Business Solutions (NDBS) Supply Chain Management practice.

The successful candidate will be part of a wider team responsible for the design and implementation of SAP solutions to our customer base and to meet our customer’s needs.

As a Senior Expert you will support customer engagements and perform delivery of the SAP EH&S solutions working alongside Enterprise Architects, Functional Consultants, Project Managers and the Integration Team to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions integrated into core SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities 

Support Solution Architects to work closely with customer and NDBS sales and business development teams to assist in the translation of business requirements into a solution that takes advantage of the EH&S capabilities supporting the architecting of these areas within the overall solution landscape.

This will include collaboratively compiling statements of works to support any stage of the sales and deal review processes.

Leads and co-ordinates integrated workshops bringing experience to bear when discussing detailed and complex requirements with Senior Stakeholders in the customer business.

Act as the design authority on projects ensuring the quality and integrity of EH&S solutions being implemented is aligned to industry best practice.

Adhering to the agreed NDBS strategy, engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies, developments and equirements to ensure NDBS remains at the forefront of the market within which we operate.

Share, use and communicate expertknowledge in order to develop others in the team and make internal business processes more effective.

Recognise potential for repeat and extended business with respect to end-to-end services offered by NDBS and provide comprehensive input.

Support NDBS to grow our business by being alert to the customer opportunities that present themselves.

Have strength and depth in delivery and configuration expertise in the following EH&S Areas:

• Incident management
• Health and safety managemen to Environment management
• Compliance management
• Worker safety

Specific areas of knowledge should include the following:

• Dangerous Goods
• Substance Volume Tracking
• Regulatory Content – inc. externally provided Regulatory Content
• Safety Data Sheets
• WII Generation Server
• EHS Label Management

Have experience of at least one core SAP module e.g. materials management, production planning, etc.  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Is able to communicate, influence, convince and inspire effectively by own personality and act as a trusted role model and advisor within the SAP EH&S solution field of expertise.
• Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully delivering customer projects and providing SAP Ariba solutions for the resolution of complex requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and soft skills, able to quickly develop relationships with all stakeholders within NDBS locally and globally, external customers, suppliers and partners to become a trusted advisor in your field of expertise.
• Demonstrates gravitas and personal integrity, is able to overcome unforeseen situations and keeps business objectives in mind.
• Drives results, effects, convinces and inspires by his/her personality, behaviour and communication style.
• Makes solid and reliable decisions in complex environments.
• Has a thirst for learning and staying on top of the evolving technology landscape.
• Actively shares and transfers own expertise and operational knowledge using a structured method, thus making it useful and functional.

PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE

• The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate 6 years of SAP EH&S skills and 3-4 years within a SAP EH&S consulting environment.
• Proven and demonstrable experience in solution design and architecture with successful delivery and experience of all elements of between 4 and 6 full project lifecycles
