Job Description:
1)We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) Senior Lead Consultant / Solution Architect with 14+ years of SAP consulting experience to lead large-scale SAP transformation programs, global implementations, rollouts, and support engagements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP SD, Order-to-Cash (O2C), S/4HANA Sales, Logistics Execution, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Customer Management processes, with proven experience managing global stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
The role requires strong business process knowledge, solution architecture capabilities, project leadership skills, and the ability to drive business transformation initiatives across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Lead end-to-end SAP SD solution design, implementation, and optimization initiatives.
Design scalable Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions aligned with business objectives.
Provide solution architecture guidance for SAP S/4HANA Sales transformations.
Conduct business process assessments and recommend best-practice SAP solutions.
Define future-state business processes and roadmap strategies.
Drive SAP standardization and process harmonization initiatives across regions.
SAP SD Functional Expertise
Configure and support SAP SD processes including:
Customer Master Data
Material Master Data
Sales Order Processing
Inquiry and Quotation Management
Pricing and Condition Technique
Availability Check (ATP)
Delivery Processing
Shipping and Transportation
Billing and Invoicing
Returns Management
Intercompany Sales
Third-Party Processing

Output Management
Revenue Recognition Integration
Design and support complex pricing procedures and rebate processes.
Implement and optimize customer-specific sales and distribution solutions.
SAP S/4HANA Expertise
Lead SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation projects.
Support SAP S/4HANA Sales implementation programs.
Drive Fit-to-Standard workshops and process redesign initiatives.
Evaluate custom developments and recommend S/4HANA-compatible solutions.
Support SAP Fiori adoption for SD business users.
Integration Management
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP SD with:

SAP FI/CO

Third-party logistics providers
E-commerce platforms
Tax engines
Ensure seamless end-to-end business process integration.
Project Leadership
Lead global implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
Manage project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
Conduct project governance meetings and stakeholder reviews.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure delivery within scope, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Support program management activities and executive reporting.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Facilitate client workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
Build strong relationships with business users and leadership teams.
Act as a trusted advisor to customer management.
Present solution recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Manage customer expectations and ensure successful project outcomes.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop and review:

UAT Plans
Lead SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing activities.
Support defect resolution and production deployment activities.
Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP SD processes.
Analyze incidents and identify root causes.
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sales operations.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Lead and mentor junior consultants and project teams.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and capability-building initiatives.
Promote SAP best practices and delivery excellence.
Support pre-sales, proposal development, and solution demonstrations.
Required Experience
14+ years of SAP consulting experience.
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience.
Minimum 4–6 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales implementations and migrations.
Experience leading global rollout and transformation programs.
Proven expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
Experience in support, enhancement, upgrade, and rollout projects.
Strong client-facing consulting experience.
Experience working in multinational and global delivery environments.
