Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Lead Consultant with strong domain expertise in the Energy & Utilities industry. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, client engagement, team leadership, and cross-functional integration with other SAP modules.
The candidate will play a key role in driving solution design, stakeholder management, AMS/project delivery, business process improvements, and mentoring functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP SD functional delivery across AMS, enhancement, and transformation programs.
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and client leadership.
Manage and mentor a team of SAP SD consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
Provide expertise in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.
Work closely with business users to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend SAP best practices.
Support production issues, service requests, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in governance meetings, project planning, status reporting, and risk management activities.
Collaborate with technical teams, integration teams, and external partners for successful solution delivery.
Mandatory Skills:
SAP SD Functional Expertise
10+ years of SAP SD experience with at least 3 years in a Team Lead or Lead Consultant role.

Energy & Utilities Industry Experience (Preferred)
Experience supporting Energy, Gas, Utilities, or related industry clients.
Experience working with complex customer billing and commercial processes.
Understanding of utility-specific business processes is highly desirable.
Leadership & Client Management
Proven experience leading onsite/offshore teams.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
Experience managing workshops, steering committees, and executive-level discussions.
Ability to handle escalations and drive issue resolution independently.
Preferred Experience:
SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
Experience in AMS and support engagements.
Experience in SAP Activate methodology.
Knowledge of ITIL service management processes.
Exposure to SAP RISE and cloud transformation programs.
