Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development and a focus on AI capabilities. The role will involve designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow solutions, with exposure to Now Assist and AI-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and custom solutions based on business requirements.
•    Work on ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, and AI-enabled workflows where applicable.
•    Develop and enhance business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, UI actions, flows, and integration components.
•    Build and maintain Flow Designer and IntegrationHub solutions and support integrations with external systems.
•    Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
•    Perform unit testing, system testing, defect resolution, and production support.
•    Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, update-set/application management practices, and platform governance.
•    Collaborate with business analysts, architects, project managers, and other technical teams across the UK project.
•    Troubleshoot technical issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
•    Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Experience
•    Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
•    Good knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
•    Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, and APIs.
•    Exposure to ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, or related AI functionality.
•    Good understanding of ServiceNow security, roles, ACLs, and platform architecture.
•    Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
•    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
