Position-Business Analyst – Cane Management Solution (Open Source Technologies)
Location-India (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Analyst to lead functional discussions and requirements analysis for the development and implementation of a Cane Management Solution (CMS) built using modern Open Source Technologies.
The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, domain users, and the technical delivery team, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience working on enterprise application development projects using open-source technology stacks and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Functional Analysis
Lead requirement gathering workshops with customer business teams and subject matter experts.
Understand and document current business processes, pain points, and future-state requirements.
Conduct gap analysis between existing systems and proposed solutions.
Prepare and maintain:
Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
User Stories
Use Cases
Process Flow Diagrams
Data Flow Diagrams
Functional Specifications
Define business rules, workflows, validation rules, and reporting requirements.
Facilitate requirement sign-off and scope management.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary interface between customer stakeholders and technical teams.
Drive functional discussions, requirement clarification sessions, and solution workshops.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.
Conduct review sessions and demonstrations with business users.
Solution Design & Delivery Support
Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers during solution design.
Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
Support solution design discussions and ensure business requirements are accurately represented.
Assist development teams in understanding business processes and domain requirements.
Testing & UAT Support
Prepare test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Support SIT and UAT activities.
Coordinate defect triage and validation with business users.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and obtain business sign-off.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Track requirement changes and manage requirement traceability.
Participate in project governance, status reviews, and steering committee discussions.
