Job Description:

JD : BA - Regulatory Reporting
Key Responsibilities
•    Lead requirement gathering sessions with business, risk, finance, and compliance stakeholders for regulatory reporting projects (e.g., Basel III/IV, CCAR, MAS 610 640, DFAST, FRY-14, EMIR, MiFID II, IFRS 9, COREP/FINREP, AML/BSA reporting).
•    Translate complex regulatory mandates into clear, actionable business and functional requirements (BRD/FRD).
•    Perform detailed data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and data lineage documentation across upstream/downstream systems.
•    Collaborate with data governance and IT teams to ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy for regulatory submissions.
•    Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC (Agile/Waterfall) to ensure requirements are implemented correctly.
•    Conduct gap analysis between current state processes/systems and new regulatory requirements.
•    Own and manage UAT — writing test scenarios/test cases, coordinating testing cycles, and validating regulatory report outputs.
•    Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal compliance teams to address queries and ensure audit readiness.
•    Support impact assessments for new/changing regulations and prioritize remediation activities.
•    Prepare process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and functional specifications.
•    Facilitate stakeholder governance meetings, present status updates, risks, and issues to senior management.
 
Required Skills & Experience
•    8+ years of Business Analysis experience, with a strong focus on regulatory reporting within banking/financial services.
Strong understanding of financial products (derivatives, loans, deposits, securities) and how they flow into regulatory reports.
 
•    Experience with BA tools/methodologies: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN, UML.
•    Proven experience writing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and process flow documentation.
•    Strong experience in UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
•    Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
•    Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project environments.
