Duties and Responsibilities:

The position is primarily focused on client ownership, project delivery, people management and development, utilisation and revenue management, project methodology and organisation, contract management, PM tools utilisation, technical and business management integration, communication and behavior, task and time management, problem-solving behavior, commitment, analytical and structural thinking, result orientation/quality management, risk management, relationship/partner management, knowledge management, driving value and business benefit, business development, and leadership skills and team management.

 

Main Tasks:

  • Maintain and develop client relationships to drive growth and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage contracts and ensure clarity over service levels and revenue targets.
  • Lead project delivery, managing scope, expectations, budget, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and communicate project risks.
  • Mentor and develop project team members, contributing to skill enhancement.
  • Drive revenue generation in line with targets and effectively manage operational risks.
  • Define and organise cloud project delivery approach based on company standards.
  • Understand and manage complex contracts, applying change request processes.
  • Utilise project management tools effectively, with full experience in Cloud ALM.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and provide professional support.
  • Demonstrate commitment to company strategy and vision, supporting team integration and giving constructive feedback.
  • Take responsibility for project revenue, cost, quality, and results.
  • Recognise and propose ways to minimise project risks.
  • Meet individual customer needs and build trust in customer relationships.
  • Share expertise and knowledge across the business network.
  • Maximise sales opportunities and support pre-sales activities, including presentations.
  • Lead project teams effectively, adapting leadership style as needed.

 

 

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years in relevant domains and 2 years in public cloud end-to-end implementation.
  • Broad and deep understanding of Activate methodology, preferably certified.
  • Certified in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud ALM, utilising its features for project management.
  • Experience in SAP solutions deployment, preferably in specific industries.
  • Prince 2 certification and/or experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in accurate and effective project reporting.
  • Ability to understand and track complex contracts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel frequently.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing large projects (>2,000 person-days) through full lifecycles.
  • Successful delivery experience in at least 10 full project lifecycles.
  • Experience in producing high-quality project and bid documentation.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate integrated workshops.
  • Professional, confident, and trusted with gravitas to succeed in any business environment.
