Position Overview:

A fundamental part of our growth strategy is to accelerate the development and expansion of our SAP business. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions to engage with clients, understand their needs, and design tailored propositions that drive business transformation. With a focus on planning, manufacturing, and logistics, you will play a key role in the presales process, collaborating with sales teams and clients to position our services effectively.

 

This key appointment will be responsible for managing and coordinating three primary business development functions:

 

1. Pre-Sales Support and Service Design:

  • Work closely with sales functions and relevant SAP sales teams to manage and oversee the preparation and delivery of sales support, including RFP responses, proposal preparation, solution design, service estimates, commercial governance, system demonstrations, client engagement, and presentations throughout the sales lifecycle.

 

2. Refining Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Approach:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and sales teams to refine and evolve our SAP Digital Supply Chain GTM strategy for the Plan, Make & Deliver supply chain pillars. This includes Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and developing strategies for Digital Manufacturing (DMC), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Transportation Management (TM).

 

3. Solution Advisory Delivery:

  • Lead or support Solution Advisory engagements to act as a trusted advisor for SAP solutions, guiding clients through Fit4Future advisory for roadmaps and digital supply chain transformation opportunities.

 

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Define and agree on SAP GTM strategies for Digital Supply Chain, including service portfolios, propositions, and innovations.
  • Assist marketing and sales teams in SAP propositions through digital content, thought leadership, campaigns, webinars, and customer advocacy.
  • Prepare high-quality RFP responses, SAP proposals, and solution designs tailored to client requirements, optimising cost and value.
  • Oversee and present client-specific demonstrations and commercial dialogue throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Support contract drafting and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure governance for SAP bids and proposals, validating all estimates and costs with SAP delivery teams.
  • Handover to SAP delivery teams for implementation and support service activities.
  • Develop and refine Fit4Future advisory services, living roadmaps, and Run Better service packages for customers.
  • Build strong relationships across SAP teams and contribute to the development of the global SAP Digital Supply Chain community.

 

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • SAP presales certifications (ideal but not mandatory).
  • SAP certifications in relevant areas with excellent knowledge of SAP architecture and modules.
  • Deep expertise in SAP products, including Public and Private Cloud, Digital Supply Chain (IBP, DMC, EWM, TM), and ECC.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and design-thinking sessions to drive client innovation and value.
