Job Description – Senior Murex Environment Manager / Technical Administrator

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Murex Environment Manager / Technical Administrator to manage and support enterprise-scale Murex MX.3 environments within a banking or capital markets ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Murex technical administration, environment management, release and deployment processes, production support, and platform stability.
This role requires hands-on experience managing multiple Murex environments, coordinating releases, ensuring system availability, and working closely with development, infrastructure, support, and business teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities
•    Manage and maintain multiple Murex MX.3 environments across Development, SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, DR, and Production. 
•    Administer Murex platform components and ensure system availability, stability, and performance. 
•    Plan, coordinate, and execute Murex release and deployment activities across environments. 
•    Monitor platform health, performance, and infrastructure utilization. 
•    Support production operations, incident management, and root cause analysis for critical issues. 
•    Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, database, middleware, and development teams to resolve technical issues. 
•    Manage environment refreshes, data migrations, configuration updates, and platform upgrades. 
•    Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational and deployment processes. 
•    Ensure adherence to change management, SDLC, release governance, and operational procedures. 
•    Coordinate with business stakeholders and project teams during application releases and major system changes. 
•    Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, deployment procedures, and operational standards. 
•    Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity activities.

Required Qualifications
Educational Qualification
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance Technology, or a related field. 
Experience
•    8+ years of overall IT experience. 
•    5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and managing Murex MX.3 environments. 
•    Experience working within Banking, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments. 
•    Strong experience managing enterprise-scale production and non-production environments. 
•    Proven experience supporting release management and production support functions.
