Position: SAP PM(Plant Maintenance) Consultant

Relevant Exp: 4- 6 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Role Overview
The SAP PM Consultant (L2) is responsible for configuration, support, and functional delivery of SAP Plant Maintenance solutions. The role supports implementation and AMS projects, working under the guidance of L3/L4 consultants while independently handling assigned functional areas, issue resolution, and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities
1. SAP PM Functional Responsibilities

    Configure and support core SAP PM processes including:

    Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations) Maintenance Notifications

    Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

    Maintenance Orders (Corrective, Preventive, Refurbishment)Task Lists and  

    Maintenance Plans Support master data creation, validation, and governance

    in SAP PM.

2. Implementation & Support Activities Participate in Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run

    phases of SAP projects.
    Perform unit testing, integration testing support, and UAT defect resolution.
    Provide day‑to‑day AMS support including:

    Incident analysis and resolution
    Change requests and enhancements
    Root cause analysis and solution documentation

3. Integration Support

    Work closely with other modules such as:

    MM (spare parts, procurement, inventory)
    FI/CO (cost postings, settlements)
    PP (where maintenance impacts production)

    Support end‑to‑end maintenance and asset management scenarios.

4. Documentation & Quality

    Prepare and update:

    Functional specifications
    Configuration documents
    Test cases and test results
    User guides and training materials

    Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and internal quality standards.

5. Stakeholder & User Support

    Interact with business users to understand issues and provide functional guidance.
    Support user training, knowledge transfer, and handover activities.
    Escalate complex issues to L3/L4 consultants when required with proper analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years of SAP PM experience (implementation and/or AMS support).
Hands‑on experience with:

Maintenance processing and work management
Preventive maintenance planning
Breakdown maintenance scenarios

Basic integration knowledge with MM and FI.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PM is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
