Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Kubernetes)

Role description:

Join NTT DATA Business Solutions as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Kubernetes area and help shape, operate, and continuously improve enterprise Kubernetes platforms used across a global organization. In this role, you will drive platform reliability, security, automation, and scalability while supporting both traditional business applications and emerging AI-powered workloads.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Own and continuously improve global Kubernetes services and platforms.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize production Kubernetes environments.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
• Support development teams in deploying and operating containerized applications at scale.
• Integrate Kubernetes platforms with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automation solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously enhance platform observability and performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams across the organization.
• Support Kubernetes-based AI/ML workloads and GPU-enabled environments.

Skills and experience you will need:

• 3–7+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience administering and operating Kubernetes environments in production.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, storage, Kubernetes security, and RBAC
• Experience with managed Kubernetes platforms, especially AKS and/or Amazon EKS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and automation
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience with Rancher
• Knowledge of Longhorn, Harbor, Fleet, Cilium, Kube-VIP, or Zabbix
• Exposure to AI/ML workloads and GPU-enabled Kubernetes clusters
