Job Title: Presales - Lead Consultant           

Experience:  6 to 10 Years

Job Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Lead Consultant with strong technical expertise and presales exposure to support solutioning for SAP transformation programs.
The role involves working closely with sales, delivery, and customers to design scalable and cost-effective SAP technical solutions, while leveraging strong BASIS fundamentals and modern SAP technologies (S/4HANA & Cloud).
The candidate will act as a technical SME in presales, contributing to solution design, estimation, and proposal creation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Presales & Solutioning 

• Support architecture-driven presales activities for SAP opportunities
• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs
• Prepare:  Solution proposals
• Effort estimation and sizing for BASIS scope
• Cost inputs and assumptions
• Contribute to RFP / RFI / RFQ responses
• Participate in client discussions, technical workshops, and solution presentations
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and cloud partners for winning solutions
  
  

2. SAP Technical Solution Design 

• Assist in defining SAP technical architecture and landscapes
• Design solutions for: SAP S/4HANA implementation and conversions
• Cloud migration (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Hybrid environments
• Support creation of: 
• Architecture diagrams
• Solution blueprints
• Deployment models
  
  

3. BASIS Technical Expertise 

• Provide strong hands-on expertise in: 
• SAP ECC / NetWeaver environments
• Installations, upgrades, migrations
• System copies and refreshes
• Perform technical assessments and landscape evaluations
• Identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities

4. Transformation & Migration Support

• Support SAP transformation initiatives such as: 
• ECC to S/4HANA migration
• Landscape simplification
• Assist in defining: 
• Migration strategies (Greenfield / Brownfield)
• Transition approach and timelines
• Contribute to modernization and cloud adoption strategies
  
  

5. Governance & Transition  

• • • Document solution assumptions, risks, and dependencies
    • Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and architecture guidelines
    • Support smooth handover to delivery teams post deal closure

Technical Competencies
A. Core SAP BASIS Skills (Must Have)
•    Strong experience in: 
o    SAP NetWeaver / ECC landscapes
o    Installations, upgrades, migrations
o    System performance tuning and troubleshooting
•    Exposure to SAP Solution Manager
