Job Title: Senior / Lead Consultant – GTM [Go To Market]

Job Summary:

Pre Sales Engineer – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is responsible for driving customer engagements, shaping solution positioning, and supporting the sales cycle with deep product expertise. The role requires hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) knowledge, strong customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to translate product capabilities into compelling business value for prospects. This role partners closely with the Sales, Delivery and SAP Teams to accelerate cloud adoption and improve win rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre Sales Solutioning & Customer Engagement
    • Lead discovery sessions, requirement analysis, and solution mapping for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
    • Deliver high-impact demos in one or more areas namely Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Project Services.
    • Prepare solution presentations, value propositions, and customer-specific walkthroughs.
    • Support RFIs/RFPs, proposals, and technical clarifications throughout the deal cycle.
  • GTM Activities (Aligned with Global Practice)
    • Create and refine pre-sales assets, pitch decks, value stories, and industry use cases.
    • Localize global GTM assets for NDBS India context (industry, customer maturity, regional references).
    • Conduct internal enablement sessions for sales, consulting, and delivery teams.
    • Ensure alignment with SAP roadmap, product changes, and release updates.
  • Hands-On SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Expertise
    • Perform configuration walkthroughs and demonstrate fit-to-standard processes.
    • Showcase capabilities using CBC (Central Business Configuration), Fiori apps, SAP Best Practices, and released scope items.
    • Explain SAP Public Cloud extensibility, integrations (BTP, Integration Suite), and analytics options.
    • Articulate cloud implementation approaches, project phases, and CALM/ALM usage.
  • Innovation, AI & Cloud Readiness
    • Present emerging Public Cloud capabilities including automation, embedded ML/AI, and agentic AI (Joule).
    • Evangelize SAP’s cloud operating model, upgrades, data migration methods, and extensibility guardrails.
    • Work with CoE teams to position AI-enabled use cases relevant to customer sector challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of SAP experience, including 3+ years in SAP S/4HANA Cloud – Public Edition.
    • Strong functional expertise in at least one core module (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
    • Hands-on experience with CBC, fit-to-standard workshops, data migration, and release management.
    • Prior experience in Pre Sales, Solutioning, or GTM roles would be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
    • Ability to simplify complex SAP concepts for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition certification.
    • Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAC, integrations, workflow, and extensibility.
    • Exposure to industry-specific S/4HANA Cloud scope items and scenarios.
    • Experience running PoVs, PoCs, or demo environments.
